About the Conference

The User Focus conference is presented by the Washington, DC Metro Chapter of the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA DC Metro).

This conference was developed to serve two primary purposes: first, to bring together the usability professionals of the DC metro area in order to exchange ideas, best practices and resources for issues that are meaningful to our local community. Second, recognizing that national conferences, organizational meetings and publications are often too many to manage, this event serves as an easily accessible, affordable way to gain some of this knowledge through one, local coordinated effort.
